God's Sacred Design

Truth,
Peace, and Love
We are truly
blessed if we can know and understand all the wonders of Love; what
it can overcome, and what it can become. God made us and our hearts are made
for God. God has instilled in each of us a desire for truth, for
peace, and for love. These longings are completely fulfilled only
when we are united with God. Living the fullness of our Catholic
faith will bring us to that unity. Praying the Holy Rosary of the
Roman Catholic Church is one of the best ways to achieve that unity. |

MODERN ISSUES
- Veritatis Splendor (The Splendor of Truth) - Pope John Paul II's beautiful encyclical on truth in a world that teaches only relativism. "Truth enlightens man's intelligence and shapes his freedom, leading him to know and love the Lord."
- Fides Et Ratio (On the Relationship Between Faith and Reason) - We live in a culture that teaches us that faith and reason are in opposition to each other. Pope John Paul II teaches us that faith and belief in God are very reasonable conclusions to come to. "Faith and Reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth--in a word, to know himself--so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves."
- Humanae Vitae - Encyclical of Pope Paul VI on artificial birth control and the regulation of birth.
- Evangelium Vitae - on the Value and Dignity of Human Life. Man is called to a fullness of life which far exceeds the dimensions of his earthly existence, because it consists in sharing the very life of God.
- Ad Petri Cathedram - On Truth, Unity and Peace, in a Spirit of Charity. "All the evils which poison men and nations and trouble so many hearts have a single cause and a single source: ignorance of the truth -- and at times even more than ignorance, a contempt for truth and a reckless rejection of it."
- Salvifici Doloris - On the Christion Meaning of Human Suffering.
