Rosaries.com has created an “Introduction To The Rosary” lesson plan that you may find beneficial for your Religious Education/RCIA programs. The lesson plan includes videos, handouts, and a PowerPoint presentation, and has a version for both children and adults. Please watch this brief four minute video introducing this lesson plan.
- This lesson plan is designed to be completed in one Catechism/Religious Education class period.
- This lesson plan can be used for all age groups. We have developed variations for both children and adults.
- This “Introduction To The Rosary Lesson Plan" has three components:
- Show to your class, this 5 minute “Introduction To The Rosary” video provided here.
- Lead the students in a brief overview of the video and the handouts provided here.
- Pray the Rosary together with your class while simultaneously showing this PowerPoint presentation which leads the class bead by bead with the correct Rosary prayers in the correct order, and matches the handouts they are given.
