Welcome to the Ten Commandments Ministry
The Ten Commandments are liberating and beautiful, in both their simplicity and their depth. If everyone followed the Ten Commandments, their lives, their families, their communities, and the world would be a lot better place. As Catholics we are called to work for God’s glory and the salvation of the world. Also, as Catholics, sometimes we feel somewhat lacking on how to bring God to others we care about, who are not very religious. For people who are looking for deeper meaning in their lives, sharing the Ten Commandments with them is a great way to remind them of God’s love, and perhaps it can be the gateway to getting them to grow spiritually on their own.
The Ten Commandments are fully in line with the official teachings of the Catholic Church. For you, the person who is trying to help others, it is not about preaching or pushing beliefs. You do not have to be an expert in Catholic Canon Law. The Ten Commandments offer timeless principles that are self-evident.
If you would like to be someone who would shares the Ten Commandments with others, you might find the document below helpful. It is free and makes it easy for you to have some Ten Commandment prayer cards on hand to give to others. We recommend printing it out on card stock and cutting out each card. Put them in your pocket or purse to hand out when the opportunity presents itself. Laminating them will make them last longer. Take care and God Bless.
